Radoslav Sviretsov is an architect, photographer, and explorer driven by a fascination with the relationship between people, landscapes, and the stories hidden between them. His work blends artistic vision with a documentary eye, seeking moments where nature, culture, and human experience intersect.
His photographs have received numerous national and international awards and have been featured in Forbes, The Guardian, PetaPixel, and Bored Panda. In 2024, he was shortlisted for Astronomy Photographer of the Year by the Royal Museums Greenwich and received the Sofia City Award for Culture in the category of Artistic Photography. In 2025, he was recognized among The Most Outstanding Young People of Bulgaria. He is also among the winners of the World Food Photography Awards in both 2025 and 2026, while in 2026 he was named Aerial Photographer of the Year by the international photography competition 35AWARDS.
Beyond creating images, Radoslav believes photography has the power to connect people and create meaningful change. This vision led him to establish the charitable exhibition “Buy Art, Donate a Child’s Future,” an initiative that transforms visual art into opportunities for young talents and supports cultural causes through collective creativity.
A passionate traveler, he has photographed everything from the endless dunes of the Sahara and the vibrant streets of Southeast Asia to the frozen glaciers of the Arctic. His work is guided by curiosity, patience, and a desire to reveal the extraordinary within the everyday.
Since mid-2025, he has been based in Iceland — a land where glaciers meet volcanoes and nature constantly reminds us of its immense power. Drawn by its dramatic landscapes and unpredictable beauty, he continues to explore and document the forces that shape both the natural world and the human spirit. For Radoslav, photography is not only a way of seeing, but a way of understanding the world.
